GOD SEES YOU and ME

Genesis 16 and Exodus 3:1-17

Today we live in a world which is growing more tumulus with Corona Virus, Monkeypox, violence, war and conflicts. However,no matter, as a disciple  of Jesus Christ you ought to guard your relation with the Lord, God, and build yourself with faith in Christ. The scripture has “Help Passages”, reminding a disciple that when you are in need- overwhelmed, hopeless, that God sees you.

Hagar, an Egyptian maidservant, in Genesis 16:1-16,understood what is meant to be seen by God. After she got pregnant by Abram, she began to despise Sarah who in turn mistreated her, causing Hagar  to flee to the desert. Hagar found herself alone, facing a future that seemed bleak, helpless, and hopeless for her and her unborn child. But it was in the desert that “the angel ofthe Lord” met Hagar and said “The Lord has heard of your misery”[V11] The angel of the Lord gave Agar guidance on what to do, and He assured her of what the future would hold. From her we learn one of the names of God-El Roi-The God who sees.Like Agar, may be you are in a difficult life-journey now, feeling lost, confused, and alone. But remember God sees you.Reach out to Him, trust and obey Him to guide you through.

In Exodus 3:1-17 When the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt by Pharaoh. The Lord understood the situation fully. Calling Moses from the burning bush, the Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have done to rescue them…..” Exodos 3:7-8

Friends: When you think no one understands you or the burdens you are bearing is too much, just remember that God is concern and sees you. Jesus is the only answer for the world today “above Him there is no other” Jesus is the way. The same God who heard the Israelites is listening to our prayers today.
